Amina Bashir Tukur is a seasoned development practitioner with over 15 years of experience in grassroots mobilization, gender mainstreaming, and organizational leadership. As the founding Executive Director of MANGRI, she has championed numerous initiatives targeting environmental sustainability, women’s empowerment, and climate education across rural communities in Adamawa State. Amina holds degrees in Environmental Science and Nonprofit Management, and has collaborated with international agencies to implement policy advocacy programs that bridge the gap between community needs and government climate action. Her leadership style is inclusive, participatory, and vision-driven, earning her accolades as a regional voice for sustainable development. She oversees the strategic direction, partnership engagement, and organizational governance of MANGRI.
